Psychotherapy focuses on changing thought patterns and physical reactions to anxiety-inducing situations. Medication is used to control depressive symptoms or anxiety. Additionally, some strategies can help people with social anxiety disorder improve their quality of life, such as:

– Regular exercises

– Avoid the consumption of alcohol and other drugs

– Going to social gatherings since childhood

– Do what you want to do without the fear of being judged by others

– Parents must have ties with their children from childhood

Social anxiety disorder is not a weakness or shame. It is a real condition that affects many people and can be overcome with the right support.
